About Twelvera

Twelvera is a Czech astrology project bringing together traditional astrology, astronomical calculations and modern artificial intelligence. It is operated by the company eTruhla s.r.o..

Our aim is to offer clear horoscopes for inspiration and reflection, with an explanation of the astrological information behind them. Alongside zodiac sign horoscopes, we offer relationship readings, astrology tools and conversations with virtual astrologers.

Our vision

We want to make advanced astrology tools accessible to anyone interested in astrology, without needing to understand complex calculations or specialist terminology.

We develop our own tools for calculating and visualising astrological data, from planetary positions and aspects to personal horoscopes and relationship analyses. Our aim is for anyone to be able to use these tools easily, rather than reserving them for experienced astrologers.

Connecting these tools with artificial intelligence is also an important part of the project. Beyond reading a finished interpretation, you can have a conversation with a virtual astrologer who can use astrological calculations, answer questions and help interpret the results.

We continue to expand Twelvera with new calculation tools, interactive features and options for personal readings. We want to create a place where traditional astrology meets the possibilities of modern technology.

How our horoscopes are made

Each reading goes through several stages:

1. Calculating the sky. Our own calculation software uses the NASA/JPL DE442s astronomical ephemeris for 1850–2149 to obtain planetary and lunar positions.
2. Examining the whole period. For a day, week, month or year, we find astrological aspects, planets entering signs, changes in their motion and lunar events. Longer horoscopes draw on events across the whole period.
3. Preparing the astrological information. The software selects relevant influences for the sign and associates them with astrological meanings and areas of life. The selection and its weights are part of our methodology. Personal readings also use birth details; when the birth time is unknown, we do not claim to know the houses or ascendant.
4. Writing a readable interpretation. AI receives the prepared data and interpretation rules and explains the connections in natural language. The software calculates planetary positions, aspects and other astrological data.
5. Running checks. We check such things as completeness, whether cited events and dates match the calculation data, and the required format. If a reading fails the checks, we do not publish it. We publish only a corrected or newly generated version that passes. We continually improve the entire process with the help of user feedback.

The work behind each reading

We verify calculations across time zones, daylight saving changes and the boundaries of days, weeks, months and years. For personal readings, we also account for the precision of birth details: an unknown birth time changes which astrological information we can use.

For each type of reading, we prepare rules for selecting and weighting influences, along with instructions for the model. Checks verify, for example, that events and dates cited in the reading exist in the calculation data. We use the same process for readings generated on demand and horoscopes prepared in advance, refining it for all eight languages.

A public horoscope has one current version for the same sign, language and period, shared by all readers. Personal readings are calculated from individual birth details; their content is not stored in the public horoscope collection.

Our approach

We openly explain which data we use and where AI comes in. Astronomical calculations have a scientific basis; astrological interpretation is not a scientifically validated method of predicting the future. We offer our horoscopes as a space for inspiration, reflection and entertainment.
